Story
Dissonance
Dissonance tells the story of a young man named William who is sick and tired of his mundane life at his Nine to five job. Like many people he has found himself stuck between a rock and a hard place. Every day he is just existing instead of living his life
As a result, he's developed a deep sorrow that he can never seem to get past. William Attempts to seek professional help for his Problems but after months of therapy, nothing seems to be working.
This is until one day his therapist Dr.Edward suggests William try one of his more unorthodox methods of treatment. This involves William going into his own consciousness to find the source of his Depression.
As William journeys through his mind, he discovers multiple exaggerated versions of himself waiting there to take full control of his mind. Each version believes they are the ones who can solve their problems and make William better. They will do anything to take control even if that means destroying a part of themselves to do so.
Multiple Williams argue over which of them is the true cause of Williams's sorrow each brings up points to prove themselves correct. This bickering boils over into a full-on battle between them however eventually this fight comes to a stalemate.
During this, they slowly work through Willimas past going through his best and worst moments until they eventually come to realize they are more alike than they originally thought. As a result of this William will come out a new man for better or for worst.
